You must bring government picture ID (driver's license or BC ID), pen and pencil; no dictionaries are allowed. Some assessments allow you to use a calculator - details are posted for the assessment you will be writing.
What should I study before writing the assessment?
Links to online Study packages are posted for the assessment you will be writing.. Free tip sheets are also included on the Assessment Resources page.
When do I get my results?
The assessment is marked before you leave. If you do not meet the required scores on your program assessment, you may schedule to re-write that section after one month of study. If you do not meet the required score after a rewrite, adult upgrading is recommended. See an Education Counsellor at Student Affairs for more details.
