Electrician Foundation program
Vancouver Island University will offer the Electrician Foundation program at the Cowichan Campus starting in September 2027.
Carpentry Foundation
Vancouver Island University will be resuming the delivery of the Carpentry Foundation program at the Cowichan Campus in February 2027.
Culinary Arts
The Culinary Arts Certificate program will begin in August 2026 at the Cowichan Campus.
Hairstylist Foundation
Vancouver Island University will resume the Hairstylist Foundation program based at the Cowichan Campus starting in September 2026. Students will divide their time between the Cowichan and Nanaimo campuses, with subsidized travel provided to support them.
