Standard First Aid with CPR C
Learn how to save lives by enrolling this course focused on first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) use. This course is perfect for professionals or anyone who wants to improve their knowledge for personal reasons. The class includes a blend self-guided online studies and a full day of in-person training.
The course includes
- primary survey
- critical intervention
- airway management
- life support of infants, children, and adults.
Learning objectives
You learn how to handle emergencies including:
- internal and external bleeding
- shock
- head, neck, and back injuries
- fractures
- chest and abdominal injuries
You will also discuss injuries related to exposure to heat and cold, and medical emergencies such as heart attacks and strokes. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a three-year certificate.

May 24: 9am to 5pm In-class at Cowichan campus
