The Writing Centre is staffed by faculty who offer free, one-on-one assistance for students in University programs. Appointments can be made from September to April.

Appointments are available online and in-person - refer to the schedule below. 

Hours

  • Mondays: 1:30 to 3:30 pm - In-person with Sally Carpentier
  • Tuesdays: 2:30 to 5 pm - Online with Jay Ruzesky
  • Wednesdays:  2 to 4:30 pm - Online with Jay Ruzesky
  • Thursdays:  10:30 am to 1 pm - Online with Jay Ruzesky

Students can book 2 appointments per week, up to 12 days ahead.

Choose your best time that matches an available slot, and then click your preference for the type of tutoring. This can be either:

  • Video chat appointment: log back into this website approximately 5 minutes before the start time. Then, open this appointment and click "Start or Join Online Consultation".

or

  • eTutoring appointment: upload your paper after making this appointment. Then, watch your email for notification that your appointment has been modified, which means than the professor has responded to your paper with tips, edits, and suggestions.
